The accuracy and easy of use makes this planner a joy to use.
The thought that has gone into its design has resulted in the most advanced planer in the market.
The single blade gives the best finish possible and coupled with its index cut depth its gives a precise and superior finish.
Pros: High quality
Cons: not cheap but worth the price

I finally replaced an older planer and was surprised how well this unit worked. It has very good depth control. The weight is sufficient for stock removal, but light enough to use it for long periods. Mine came with the beveling guide and it is engineered as a match to the unit, very sturdy. The chip bag works fine, but I usually attach it to my vortex shop vac.I had to look for attachments for the vac to fit the chip outlet. It would be nice if tool manufactors would supply the proper standard fitting or outlet size that directly fits a 1 1/4" vac hose.
Pros: High quality, Durable, comfortable to work with
Cons: standard port size for shop vac hose

I purchased my planer a year ago for the purpose of flating glued-up table tops before sending them through the surfacer. It worked great.
I have since used it on cleaning up edges of laminated/tapered wood members and the result was less work and a sandible surface. A great product.
Pros: High quality, dependable and durable

I used this planer to plane down 3"0"x10'0" Solid Oak Doors, I feel it worked great. Left a nice finish. I wish I had the optional beveling guide.
Pros: Durable, better quality
Cons: one cutting blade

I saw this planer at Menards when I was shopping for one to finish a project I was working on in my attached garage. I used it for the first time yesterday and all I can say is it is worth every penney I spent. The ease of operation was amazing and the area I was planing was done quickly and efficiently. I would recommend this product to anyone shopping for a good planer.
Pros: High quality, ease of operation

I'm a general contractor and purchased this planer to replace my orange and black one. I use it mostly for doors and cabinets. It works pretty well except I wish it had 2 blades instead of one. The bag is kind of a pain to put together but does a good job of collecting all the wood chips.
I like the guide which helps keep it on track.
Pros: High quality, Durable, nice guide
Cons: only one blade, dust bag hard to put on

This is so convenient for jobs that are either too small to set up my big planer or too big. Too big? Well, I guess my assembly table is not perfect and sometimes edge jointed boards end up not exactly level to each other. I can run this little planer across them a few times and correct the minor differences very quickly. I have a pretty good dust collection system in my shop but find the bag on this machine is easy enough to use - just empty it out every so often.
Pros: High quality, Durable
